Are you a whiz at welding and enjoy putting together complex constructions from scratch? Do you want to be the one who actually builds what we design? We are now looking for a handy and meticulous welder/assembler who wants to become a key part of our production.

At Malå Skogstjänst, we go from idea to finished product under the same roof. We are a close-knit team of 11 employees who value craftsmanship and good collaboration. Right now, we are busy in the workshop and need to strengthen our team with someone who has a feel for both weld seams and final assembly.

Your role

As a welder and industrial assembler with us, you bring the drawings to life. You work closely with our designers to ensure that the solutions we develop become reality with the highest quality. It’s a varied job where you get to follow the product all the way.

Your main tasks will include:

• Welding and assembling steel constructions (mainly MIG/MAG).
• Performing assembly work of mechanical components and systems, even in the field.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing documents.
• Performing cutting, grinding, and preparatory material handling.
• Ensuring that the final product meets the high quality that our customers expect.

Who are you?

You are motivated by order and tidiness, both at the welding table and in assembly. You understand the importance of getting it right from the start and leave nothing to chance when it comes to quality and safety. We believe you have a background in the manufacturing industry, as a welder or assembler. The most important thing is your practical skills and that you have a good understanding of how things are put together and work mechanically.

Requirements for the position:

• Good experience in welding (MIG/MAG) and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and work from workshop drawings.
• Technical interest and practical problem-solving skills.
• Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in similar work within industry or workshop.
• Driving license B
